I called the FNSB Air Quality (459-1005) and asked about the location of the http://co.fairbanks.ak.us/airquality/CRCurrentPhoto.jpg

I was told that the exact location couldn't be revealed for security purposes (?) but it was on Cranberry Drive north of Farmer's Loop Road. Top of the hill above and west of Skyline Drive.

So, the exact location remains a Borough secret for now...until I go for a drive (;-)

GaryNL7Yhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15874712728971005352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4572286363399496963.post-38574446519214632052013-01-27T16:58:28.194-09:002013-01-27T16:58:28.194-09:00Dream on :)Dream on :)Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03946704894714514716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4572286363399496963.post-62097207459501585982013-01-27T16:01:58.880-09:002013-01-27T16:01:58.880-09:00finally some real Minnesota cold came to Alaskafinally some real Minnesota cold came to AlaskaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4572286363399496963.post-45132297991600075272013-01-27T12:25:27.334-09:002013-01-27T12:25:27.334-09:00I "think" it's from the Dog Mushers ...I "think" it's from the Dog Mushers Hall. Never really traced it down, but passing by at speed in the summer on the Harley I notice a tower to the east of the Hall that may hold the cam, and a power line to the west of that in the pic.

Hagelbarger makes more sense though, given the panoramic view. Being lazy, maybe I'll call the Borough and ask tomorrow.

Website source: http://co.fairbanks.ak.us/airquality/AQNearRealTime.aspx

GaryNL7Yhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15874712728971005352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4572286363399496963.post-68624662056405736552013-01-27T10:43:54.103-09:002013-01-27T10:43:54.103-09:00Gary, Do you know exactly where this image is take...Gary, Do you know exactly where this image is taken from?
