Here's a a simple plot of the standardized monthly temperature anomalies at Fairbanks for the past 11 months. Recall the "standardized" is in effect scaling the absolute departures by the typical spread of monthly temperatures (technically, departure divided by standard deviation). The see-saw pattern that started in October continues.
