The Way Inversions Die

Here's a plot of temperatures and winds from Fort Yukon Saturday. Fort Yukon is an AWOS and reports a full observation every 20 minutes. When the winds broke through the inversion, the temperatures rose 29 degrees inside of 20 minutes.
