40 below on the Flats

The Chalkyitsik RAWS (which is half way between fort Yukon and Chalkyitsik) hit 40 below Monday morning. I believe that this is the first 40 below of the season. The Beaver Creek RAWS has been down to 36 below the Fort Yukon AWOS to 33 below.
